Christmas Music!

With Thanksgiving past, Thursday was the official start of the American Christmas season. Also in Amiens, the Marché de Nöel started last Saturday, and I got a glimpse of the lights and decorations downtown Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Spiritually, yesterday was the First Sunday of Advent.

Ice Skating!

A few weeks ago I went ice skating with my German roommate and four other Germans. It was a fun adventure. The last time I was ice skating was when Spiff and Mrs. Spiff were courting, which was a looooooong time ago (one 'o' for every year). I was really rusty, but it was a blast!
